TWENTY-SIX ASSISTANT DIRECTOR GRADE-II (ECONOMIC INVESTIGATION) IN
OFFICE OF THE DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER (MSME), MINISTRY OF MICRO,
SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES. Of the twenty six posts, five posts are reserved
for Scheduled Castes Candidates, three posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes
Candidates, seven posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidates and
remaining eleven posts are Unreserved. Of the twenty six posts, one post is reserved
for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped/
Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA). The
posts are also suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz.
Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Arm
Affected (Right or Left) (OA). QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL:
Master’s degree in Economics from a recognized University or equivalent. B.
EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience in conducting and guiding investigation/Surveys/
Research relating to small scale industries. DESIRABLE: i) Experience of handling
economic data pertaining to and knowledge of problems relating to small scale
industries and/or other industries. ii) Basic knowledge of computers applications
currently used software/packages for officers. DUTIES: To conduct surveys on district
industrial potentiality, market, credit availability to SSI sector and its utilization and
sick SSI units. To prepare state industrial profiles/project profiles, feasibility reports,
notes on problems being faced by SSI units, measures for revival of sick SSI units and
tax concessions etc. Any other duties that may be assigned.
