Name of the Posts:
1. Senior Residents: 76 posts
2. Central Casualty Services: 07 posts
3. Demonstrator: 29 posts
4. Medical Officer (LO)/ (LMO):02 posts
5. Emergency Medical Officer: 01 post

Age Limit: Candidate should have 33 years and in case of post doctoral degree holders 35 years for Sr no 1 & 2 posts, 30 years for MBBS & 33 years for PG degree holders for Sr no 3, 4, & 5 posts (Age relaxation is extended as per Government rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess MBBS/MD/MS/DM/ M.Ch/ DNB in relevant disciplines.

Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay Demand Draft of Rs.100/- (Rs.25/ -for Scheduled Castes candidates) in the case of General Category and Other Backward Class candidates, in favor of Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format, fill that form completely, affix passport size photograph on it, along with self attested copies of all the certificates/ testimonials and other documents, recent photograph and Demand Draft towards Application Fee must be sent in a sealed cover super scribing with “Application for the post of___ should reach the office of Director Principal, Room No. 228-A, Block ‘D’, Hospital Building, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32-B, Chandigarh on or before 20-12-2012.
